Forum Rank Posts: 78 Joined: 10/05/2010 10:21 PM	I've noticed that each map is limited to 7 bots. Ever thought about tweaking bot count? For example adding more bots for larger maps or less bots for smaller maps.

I don't recall a mutator that does this without a lotof hand configuration. I see the title is BodenX, I did not think it had the ability to identify the size of the map and set the bots without listing each map individually? If so that would be awesome. Thanks for the idea. The reason why I use it and other servers do is to cut down on bot killing. I just hate it when someone bot hunts and wins. If you want to kill bots go offline...so I distribute bots depending on map size. And there's not really that many maps that need tweaking. On my server I run 300+ maps with only about 90 or so setup through BodenX. Some maps, especially the smaller ones, don't need a lot of bots. And with BodenX you can set some maps with more or less gravity. Also it offers the KeepItClean mutator...which I think is a must. Anyway, I think my players appreciate it.

As often as I remove and add maps it is just too much micro-managing and I don't have the time. Here recently I have taken on more and just am stretched too thin. I already have bodenx on the server for the KeepItClean. I have to admit it would be cool if it could detect the ideal players settings of a map and adjust but I have found min 8 players is a good fit. I did talk with another clan leader about writing something that does detect and adjust but once again we both are strapped for time.
