So I'm bored at school and that's why I made this thread.
What kind of movies do _you_ like? (action, comedy, thriller) You can also name some good movies you have seen.
Last weekend I saw "Inception" It was a very good movie, I liked especially the effects, and just everything. :p
Favorite genres must be.. action/comedy/thriller, I just don't like gross movies like the Saw films. Just.. gross. At the 3rd movie I had to run to open the window to get some fresh air.. I was close to throw up.
So what do you like?
Regards, Cetera. |

Hi,
I don't like horror, fantasy and science fiction movies at all but I can tell you the titles I loved (and still love) most:
- One flew over the cuckoo's nest
- Dogville
- Million Dollar Baby
- The Deer Hunter
- Scarface
- Mediterraneo
I'm a great fan of Robert De Niro, Al Pacino and Clint Eastwood. I love western movies too...
PS: I like very much also Takeshi Kitano's movies !

Wow the topic of which movies are good or not is so subjective.
And "subjectiveness" in itself would make for a good discussion...lol
But keeping on topic...last night I watched the movie "Glengarry Glen Ross".
Starring Al Pacino, Jack Lemon, Ed Harris, Kevin Spacey and Alec Baldwin.
This movie makes me want to become an actor...lol
And Mr.P did you see Al Pacino in "Dog Day Afternoon"?

Yes, I did...I liked that movie but I prefer Al Pacino as "mature" actor. On the contrary, I prefer the "young" De Niro ("Taxi Driver") to the mature one ("Ronin")... |

Ah yes subjectiveness...
I agree a young De Niro was the best but a young/middle-aged Pacino
for me is better then the "over acting" older Pacino.
And it probably has to do a lot with what roles/movies they do and did.
