Hi,
I am helping some friends of -{ISC}- team to install a new mod on their server.
This mod, the oldschool sniper mod (that will be played in the forthcoming cup) uses BunnyFooFooV5s mutator, which has its own config file, i.e. BunnyFooFooV5s.ini.
Camping sniper mod, that is already installed on their server, uses BunnyFooFooV5s and its own config too.
If I install the oldschool mod, its config unfortunately will be the same of the camping mod because only 1 .ini file can exist for the same mutator. So I can play correctly only one of the two mods, not both of them.
Is it possible to specify different settings for the same mutator by using the "Settings" parameter in the CustomGameConfig[] located in MapVoteLA.ini (see the following code)...
...or I have to re-compile the original BunnyFooFooV5s mutator with different package (.u) and config file (.ini) names in order to play both mods without any problems ?
thanks (again ),
Pietro

As far as I know the settings in the mapvote only change setting found in the server's ini, time limit, min players, score, ect.
when I have needed multiple settings for bunnyfoofoo I have always had to rename and recompile a new package. By doing this you could make it look at a completely different ini file or just have a duplicate set of settings in the same ini file just under the new package name.

Hope this helps.
Thanks for the infos. Yes, this helps a lot.
I'm not an expert of MapVote (only recently I've taken a look at it) so I didn't know if "Settings" parameter could be used for this purpose.
Now 'm going to recompile the original BunnyFooFoo mutator in order to have a new one with new package and config file names. I've seen there are only 5 UScript classes (1 mutator class + 4 actor classes) so I think this can be easily solved with a fast "copy & paste" work.
Glad to have always useful comments from experts.
Thanks again for your help !
glad I could help. Yes if I remember correctly you should be able to just copy and paste and rename the package.
only thing you might want to change is the ini file it looks at but it is up to you.
Yes, all done in 4 simple steps:
1) copied & modded the original .ini file, i.e. BunnyFooFooV5s_oldschool.ini
2) created a new package, i.e. BunnyFooFooV5s_oldschool.u
3) copied & pasted the original uscript classes in the new package
4) changed the name of the config file (i.e. BunnyFooFooV5s_oldschool) in the uscript classes definitions (where needed):
class xxxxx extends xxxxx config(BunnyFooFooV5s_oldschool);
last but optional: copied & modded the original .int file for the new BunnyFooFoo mutator, i.e. BunnyFooFooV5s_oldschool.int
