When I move my mouse in game it feels like I'm drawing the mouse through pudding.. I googled it and it seems like this guy ( http://www.ut99.o...amp;t=3514 ) has the same problem.
Any ideas what to do? I can't play like this. The mouse lag is on MP servers and everywhere inside the game.

What type of mouse do you have? Does it have a separate setting for game mode? What video driver are you using? Was this a fresh install of UT99 or the one you have been playing on?
Also try turning off mouse smoothing.

Mouse is a standard Microsoft Optical mouse, it has no settings. Turning off mouse smoothing didn't work. I downloaded and patched the game from this site, so yes, it is the one I have been playing on.
just as a test try downloading the opengl driver, install it, then change to it and see if that makes any difference.
And you did connect to the -=CoN=- server to test it?
Yes. When I change to the OpenGL driver the pudding remains, but there are minimal of it. Still my PC is powerful enough to play more challenging games than UT99... Yes I play on the CoN server.
I would have to think it would be an issue with the video settings in UT if you changed it to OpenGL and it got a little better. You could try changing other video setting to see if anything help. I had seen something a while back on video tweaks that help. I will see what I can find and get back to you.
