This thread will be for information for our 2v2 Sniper Freestyle tournament. This tournament has been scheduled to run for 2 days. Starting on Friday March 15th beginning at 6pm CST and going to 12am CST and Finishing up on Saturday March 16th starting at 5pm CST and ending at 12am CST. There will be spots open for 8 teams. It will be double elimination. Registration for the tournament will open on Tuesday February 19th @ 12pm CST.
Only 1 person from each team register. Put your teammate's name in the comments. To register please use the Event Registration link to the left or you can click here: http://teamcon.ne...ration.php
There is a link to the tournament bracket in the navigation panel to the left. Once we have 8 teams or when registration closes I will add the teams to the bracket. Please click the -=CoN=- St. Patty's Bracket link for times of matches. All matchups and map groupings are randomly generated to be fair.
The tournament will be held on our tournament server : 74.196.208.36:5001
You may continue to use the Head 2 Head server for warm up or practice. I will be on TS during the tournament for questions or issues. If you would like to watch the match please use UTSpy. To configure UTSpy place 74.196.208.36 in for the server address and 5002 for the query port. A few spectator slots will be opened up at match time to watch the matches live. Results will be posted in the bracket between matches.
Rules:
1. Have fun!
2. All match times are in CST.
3. You are responsible for checking your next match time on the -=CoN=- St. Patty's Bracket.
4. Only the people playing in the current match are allowed in the Tournament TeamSpeak channels.
5. First team on picks color.
6. There is no spawn protection.
7. Telefragging is disabled.
8. Match is Freestyle.
9. Each map will have a 15 minute time limit. First team to 75 or best score at the end of time wins the map. Best 2 of 3 maps wins the match.
10. In the event of a server crash the map will be replayed if both teams can't agree on score with the admin to resume.
11. An admin will be on during the match to handle issue such as pausing the game if a player crashes or drops.
12. Please be on at least 5 minutes before your match. If someone is not on the server and ready to start at posted match time they will have 5 minutes before they take a forfeit of the first map. 10 minutes past and they forfeit the match.

Registration has been changed to open today (2/19/13) at 12pm CST instead of tomorrow.
Go to the event registration link to register.
Please remember only 1 from each team register and put your teammate's name in the comments.

Including if there was like 1 min. left?
What about if a player loose connection, does the game set to auto-pause for like 30 seconds?
Each situation can be different. I will be in spectating each map so if both teams agree on a different solution we can do something else. This is just if no one agrees this will be the default solution. Also While I am in if a player drops I will pause the map.
I will clarify the rule a little better.
We try to be as fair as possible to everyone.

The same maps are used for Round 2 winner bracket as in round 1 loss because the people in Round 2 winner can't play in round 1 loss.
