Since I DL game today the maps are much darker. I've tried f11 in game play and I've tried settings. I'm using the D3D driver or whatever it's called, but you know which one i'm talking about. Any suggestions?
I have had this issue with copying to another computer. I then would have to change the default video device settings from the original 3d3 to 3gl. then go back into video setting after reloading game and change default device back to the 3d3 device as the default with High Graphics, Gama and detail. Reload the game with the default device and adjust video to your contrast settings. also if you are using a laptop; try using the "FN" function + Brightness up.
Usually when this happens with D3D I have to move over to opengl. Try grabbing the opengldrv.dll in the download section under video drivers and save in the system folder of UT. Switch to opengl in the video preferences and see if that will let you adjust the brightness.
