Old member... having trouble getting on the server

Hi Gang! I played with the CoN team many years ago with my son Legendkiller. We were talking about the game so I downloaded it again to see if my old arse had any skill left.
I'm trying to get on the CoN server and certain things seem to download or at least start when I try to join, but it hangs for a loooong time and never connects to the server to play. It looks like its trying to download the files to allow me to join, but after 5-10 minutes, the next map starts and i'm out.
I have a 75Mbit connection so its not speed. I am running WIndows 10 and can join other servers. Have only tried a few, but cant seem to get here.
It may be my computer, because when I shut down UT, and try to restart it, I cant see ANY of the servers unless I restart my computer, something may be getting corrupted. I'm thinking I don't have all the additional files I need to play here (UTDC, etc).
Any ideas? I'm scouring the forum to find other threads that may help.

Hey there SN!! It has been a LONG time!! Thanks for the reply, I'm still struggling with this. It looks like certain packages will start downloading then it stops. I have disabled the router firewall, antivirus and windows firewall completely to see if that would change anything and it doesn't. I was hoping that S9 might be able to see what the hang up is on the server logs with me.
I am able to join a few online servers but not many. I have also tried to edit the .ini for a longer timeout but that's not it either.
I even deleted the UT I got from another site and used the one here on this site. Ill get it figured out but damn, its chapping my pants on this one. |

Thank you my friends!! I'm diligently working on it from this end!!
EDIT: What I have noticed is that the servers I have been able to join are all standard weapons, no custom snipers, etc. Maps are custom (non-Standard) but noting other than the vanilla weapons. Not sure if that has relevance or not.
